For 32 wonderful years, we at Thunderbird Artists have proudly produced the Fall Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival as one of Arizona’s most anticipated fine art events — a true “Collector’s Paradise™” where exceptional artists connect with enthusiastic collectors in the heart of Carefree.
This year, we’re making an exciting evolution to keep delivering the highest-quality experience for our artists and our patrons. In response to the Town of Carefree’s request to limit street closures to just two per year, we’ve chosen to move the Fall festival to the stunning Carefree Gardens — while keeping our popular Winter and Spring street festivals unchanged in downtown Carefree.
Thunderbird Artists connects nationally recognized, award-winning artists with passionate patrons from around the world. Founded in 1981 by Judi Combs and still family-owned and operated, Thunderbird Artists has spent over four decades building a reputation for excellence in fine art festivals. Judi and her daughter, Denise Colter, have made it their mission to champion both established and emerging artists, providing a vibrant marketplace that has launched countless creative careers.
