Unique scalemail outfit design is the specialty of fantasy artist Dawn Steeves (also known as Dawn Ravenwind). As a teenager, she began creating fantasy art as a hobby. In 2013, she began designing large-scale costumes. Like her son Ragnar, DragonHeART was formally established as a business in 2015. Although it started out tiny at local markets, she has since taken her booth on yearly tours around western Canada, attending numerous music festivals and comedy performances throughout the summer. Several of her designs have sold and been transported to every continent (except from Antarctica), demonstrating how popular they are throughout the world.
