Close your eyes and imagine hearing live country music while sipping on an ice cold drink, dancing the night away… Now open them, and behold, you’re standing in the best and most authentic country bar in Scottsdale: Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row.

The Arizona native and Grammy-nominated country music singer Dierks Bentley created this gastropub to give local country fans a full-service establishment. The name Whiskey Row stems from the famous and historic Whiskey Row in Prescott, Arizona. It was Bentley’s way of paying homage to the area.

The building may have a 1920s cowboy theme, but there are lots of modern aspects throughout. This bar is one of the most high-tech bars in Arizona, and they have a selection of over 60 types of whiskey. They serve homemade and tasty American meals, and Monday through Friday, the happy hour special offers ½ off appetizers and discounted drinks.

Speaking of food, it’s hard to choose a number one contender for appetizers, and you can’t go wrong with the Bourbon Glazed Wings. The wings are tossed in a whiskey hot honey sauce that’s not too spicy or too sweet.

The second runner up is the Bavarian Pretzel. The giant pretzel is soft, salty, and served with a whiskey cheese sauce. Last but not least, the Tennessee Hot Slider, a fried chicken breast with spicy chili paste, pickles, and a blue cheese dressing.

All the burgers and sandwiches at WR are served with fries, but you can upgrade to another side for $1. My standout item is the Whiskey Burger. It consists of melted cheddar cheese over a hot patty, topped with a whiskey BBQ sauce, honey-roasted jalapeno, and peppered bacon.

The Mac & Cheese entree is a fan favorite amongst WR fans. A melty, gooey three-cheese blend coats the noodles, and a sprinkle of bacon breadcrumbs is added on top.

If you’re in need of a spacious area for a private event, put Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on the top of your list. Whether you’re hosting a bachelor or bachelorette party, celebrating a birthday or anniversary, or renting for a company event, this is the perfect place.

You can shower your guests with VIP bottle service or buy out the venue. The staff will work with the host to choose drinks and food that fit the celebration and also suggest the best playlist to get guests moving to the dance floor.

Every night, starting at 8 p.m., live music and entertainment are pumping up the crowd at Whiskey Row. And on Thursdays, a high-energy DJ starts their set at 10:30 p.m. and keeps the vibes going until 2 a.m.

If you are planning on taking a group of friends to Whiskey Row, be sure to make a reservation ahead of time, as the building can fill up quickly.
